Hi,
I installed owncloud-client as well today with qt4 and -qt5 flags.
I use Openbox with Firefox as the default browser and Thunar as the default file manager, but owncloud opens Chrome and ...Easytag instead :o . How can I force it to use the preferred applications?

thanks in advance

It was an Intel driver problem. It seems with Openbox it updated and the driver as well and something went wrong. With the new one everything is back to normal. Yeah!

If there is not such a folder means you have not installed a cursor theme manually. Every cursor-theme or icon-theme you install manually in every distro goes there and it creates that folder. You can mkdir it by yourself ofcourse.

Both KDE4 and Gnome save them in your HOME/.icons folder, because they use the same cursors.

What's the solution? I've not seen one. :?
I suspect it's a problem with xulrunner-1.9.2 and affects and the other xulrunner apps like songbird and thunderbird.
I tried to compile Firefox-3.6 on top of xulrunner 1.9.7 without success.

Firefox 3.6 slow menus

Hi guys,
I installed Firefox 3.6 but the experience is unbearable. It draws the menus so slowly that I cannot even browse my bookmarks...
I Googled around and found that maybe libxcb was the problem. I updated libxcb, re-emerged Firefox but still nothing. I even removed my .mozilla directory to try ...

Missing fonts with the KDE version of OpenOffice.

Does this happen only with the KDE version or with Gnome as well?

Swiftweasel for Gentoo

Hi guys,
I wanted to ask if there is reason to exist an ebuild for Swiftweasel?
Swiftweasel has optimizations over Firefox. These are Profile Guided optimizations. o they boost the binary differently than Gentoo's gcc flags?

I just encountered this problem as well. I don't use skype every day, so I don't know precisely when the mic quit, and am thus unable to associate it with any specific portage activity I've done.

I know the mic works -- audacity records just fine.

Tried lots of different stuff in alsamixer to no ...

Also, your alsa-mixer looks a bit different from mine but perhaps it helps nevertheless.
