Erm... My mouse isn't working at all under Warsow, though it's working perfectly under Quake 3 and UT 2004, did anyone have this issue?

sparse memory -> discontiguous memory and no more problems xD

gentoo-sources are working here (same cpu, same mobo), but acid-sources give me this error.

Maybe I can give you my gentoo-sources .config if you want to test?

did you rename the 2.8 ebuild to 2.10 ?

just rename the qstat ebuild to 2.10 and put it in your overlay, will install you a q4 compatible qstat ^^

oh and about the fps, would have been a shame with an a64 and a 7800

installed with the ebuilds found on bugzilla, working perfectly

been having this issue for ages, and never found a solution...

erm, if you do that from a live cd, you can do it with cp -a
no need for tar or compression

I removed all alsa from kernel
unmerged everything alsa
did as you said with ALSA_CARDS="emu10k1" in make.conf
put the module in autoload
then emerged alsa things ~x86
removed /etc/asound.state

rebooted

ln -s /usr/lib/libopenal.so openal.so
ln -s /usr/lib/libSDL-1.2.so.0 libSDL-1.2.so.0

ln the openal and sdl from /usr/lib to /opt/ut2004/System openal and sdl

I symlinked but it didn't solve the problem for me.

The openal in portage seem old though.
