Sorry for the much delayed reply. I finally had time to look at my mythtv box.

I was able to ssh into my box and try to fine-tune the analog channels, but it doesn't seem like what i did made any difference. The screenshot I posted a few posts up is the same quality that I get for my current setup ...

Network Printing with PIXMA MP190

I bought my pixma printer about 2 months ago and i've been trying, and failing, to get this thing working in gentoo (amd64).

I've installed the cnijfilter-3.00.ebuild which is supposed to support the mp190 printer.
In addition to that i've installed the emul-linux-x86-bjdeps-0.1-r2.ebuild with popt ...

I went diving into my kernel becuase I was starting to think something in there was wrong. Changed some things around (added/subtracted) and now my DTV still works and i think my analog kinda works.

What happens during "mythtv-setup" is i can scan for my cable channels and it adds only the ones ...

NeddySeagoon-

thanks for all your help. I found a USB2.0 pci card in my box of old computer parts, plugged that in and plugged my webcam into it. I can now use my multireader with everything plugged in.

I was doing a few speed tests, and i was wondering if ~2MB/s is typical for a 4GB 45X CF card ...

I unplugged my usb webcam and everything started to work. I copied 1.6GB of pictures off of my CF card without a problem.

One question I have now is, can I set my webcam to be on its own root usb hub and my keyboard, mouse, card reader on the other hub so i don't have to keep unplugging my webcam?

Here's a good one :

# emerge --sync
# emerge -auDNv world

With that you will update your box and I'm sure that you will have a kernel 2.6.27 somewhere.

After that you need to post that :

# cd /usr/src
# ls -la

With the content of that, I will give you the instruction to update your ...
