How to prevent net.eth0/wlan0 to start?

Hello,

surely a noob question but I don't find the answer:
Net.eth0 and net.wlan0 start at boot, but they are not programmed to start:
raoul ray # rc-update show
lvm | boot
xdm | default
fsck | boot
hald | default
mtab | boot
root | boot

[SOLVED-PARTIALY]compiz pb with metacity 2.28

hi

just updated to gnome 2.28 and a pb appears with compiz: when I run "compiz --replace --loose-binding ccp" the cpu usage stick around 30%-40%
it appears that Xorg uses about 7%, compiz 7%, gconfd-2 6%, metacity 4%, gnome session 2%, dbus-deamon 2%
I re-emerge mesa, nvidia drivers, compiz (all ...

I installed gnome 2.24 from the overlay this morning. everything works fine, even compiz-fuzion.
compiz seems to run a bit smoother, and if overall performance is very good, it wasn't an issue for me before (my config: core duo 1,6Ghz, 3Go ram, HD 350Go SATA 5600t/min)
it only seems to have an issue ...

php-5.2.5_p20080206 and moodle 1.8.3 incompatibility

Hi,

it seems that the latest version of php is not compatible with moodle 1.8.3 : when I tried to use both, index.php or install.php became downloadable and moodle can't function. downgrading php to 5.2.5-r1 solve the problem.
