I'm trying to help someone install Gentoo through messaging and he's using the new Live CD. Problem is, lynx was not included on it. It has links, but links is terrible for reading text. It tends to cut it off on the edges....
Anyways, it would be very nice if lynx was included in the next livecd. It would just make everything so much easier. |

Actually, I think that was done because more people wanted links for framebuffer support and having lynx as well seemed redundant. However, I personally agree - Lynx is a lot better.
It would be great if someone could file a bug asking for Lynx to be included at https://bugs.gentoo.org - post the bug number here, also, so people who're interested can CC themselves on it. |
