Is it possible? I've tried with the new 2.4.21-r1 LiveCD but parted says it can't deal with HFS+.
what does:
HFS(+) resizing kernel/parted patch (easily make room for Gentoo)
mean.
How does one get the hfsplus patch working?
Thanks,

I used the KDE live CD and the parted present on it worked to resize my HFS partition no problem. _________________ Life is too short and too important to { take seriously | use Windows }. |

Are you sure it worked on an HFS+ partition, not a HFS partition? I want to resize my OS X partition to avoid a resinstall.
Thanks,

I did the same with the Live CD listed on gentoo's Front Page. It was on a newer iMac with hfs+. |
