Hi all!
We are finishing our job/vacancy portal: [EDIT: no free publicity here: rac] . The project has been an enormous undertaking in five languages (English, Russian, German, French, and Spanish). Please take a look and tell us what you think needs improvement. We think a free job site will be a great help to everyone looking for a job or employee. vladjan has been deactivated, for spamming the same unrelated message for some job site across several forums, and those being the only posts made by that account. vladjan, if you want to try to apologize and convince us that you would like to be a better citizen, please email a moderator.

Good grief, SPAM in the forums!!! It is the first one I've seen in Gentoo Forums, I guess that the moderators are usually faster than me...

I hadn't really thought about it as an advantage of a web forum over a mailing list, but there certainly is a lot less spam. It's not as easy to automate and luckily there are moderators to help prevent many users from even being affected by it. I suppose I've just accepted that signing up for a mailing list is like asking for spam. Perhaps this is something better discussed in why web forum and not a mailing list or a USENET group? I'll stop cross posting now.
