| OK, I know I'm missing the obvious... but how do you download themes from this site? Or is it just for display? |

It's more of a skin/wallpaper site than themes. _________________ This message self destructed a long time ago. |

ais4: Run a pager program (ie. bbpager) and it should open in the slit =)
It's well documented on the fluxbox site.

Thanks a lot. I'll check it out.
and you can look up what programs are in what builds by going to the gentoo page. On the top you should see portages link. It'll take you to a page that lists all the current e-builds and which directories you have to go to emerge them.
hope that helps

It's either fluxbox or blackbox. since the screenshot is called "FluxORed", I would say that it is fluxbox.

I used to have WindowMaker 8 all skinned up, transparent Eterms letting me see pretty backgrounds of Cloud City, the USS Defiant, and lots of pretty colors, but it just got old. I like structure. The last KDE I'd used was 2.2, so I jumped right into 3 and added on Mosfet's Liquid and haven't gone back since. I used to hate KDE because it was clunky and Windows-like, but I wouldn't be using anything else right now. Printing works like a dream (it's the key feature that got me to go from Abiword to KOffice), Evolution still works great, and, best of all, I've got AMOR running all the time. AMOR with the pinguis skin is a killer app :)
I've got this (http://kde-look.org/content/preview.php?file=1746-2.png) background going with Liquid. It looks great. Nice, bright, cheerful, uncluttered, open. |

I used to be a die hard GNOME guy ... then I adopted a more minimalist philosophy and switched to fluxbox (which is amazing). But the sheer eye-candy value of KDE & Mosfet Liquid Widgets combined with the real nice font rendering in Konq ... I just can't use anything else. And since QT has been released under a good license, the license-bigot side of me doesn't freak out.
I mean ... I got an AMD 1.4ghz w/ a Geforce 3 and 512mb of RAM ... If I'm a little careless with system resource on that desctop PC it's no big deal. |

yes.
go to ~/.fluxbox/menu file. The menu is quite easy to figure out. you can add them as you wish or take them out with # at the beginning of the line. |
