i unmerge gcc, how to install it now

i did one big mistake, i unmerge gcc

how can i install gcc now

Go to http://dev.gentoo.org/~avenj/bins/ and fetch the appropriate gcc package. Untar it over /, and then remerge gcc.

i extract it with tar -xvjf gcc*.tbz2

now i do not know what to do

the first file of that site is called "readme"

1) Download file.
2) cd /
3) tar xvjpf /path/to/gcc-3.3.4-r1.tbz2
4) emerge gcc

http://ftp.fredan.org/gentoo/binaries/amd-athlonxp/All/

download it (14.5mb large) copy it into /usr/portage/packages/All dir then emerge it with

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge --usepkgonly gcc


when you do this then do

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge gcc
and it must work
