Oggi ho aggiornato il mio gentoo-dev-sources dalla versione 2.6.5-r1 alla 2.6.7 e mi sono ritrovato con diverse periferiche completamente paralizzate:
1) La scheda di rete nforce viene riconosciuta, attivata ed impostata tuttavia non ha alcuna comunicazione con la mia LAN.
2) La scheda audio nforce viene riconosciuta, attivata e viene creato /dev/dsp tuttavia non produce alcun suono.
3) La scheda DVB viene riconosciuta e vengono creati gli appositi device in /dev/dvb/ ma ancora una volta non ne funziona neanche uno...

Ho lo stesso problema, sempre scheda nForce2 e sempre IRQ 11
Lo faceva anche nel 2.6.6 (e pure 2.6.6-mmX)

Confrontando i dmesg del 2.6.5 e del 2.6.7, nella parte ACPI del 2.6.5 non c'erano tutti quei disabled, anzi, non c'erano proprio

Aggiornamento:
Il problema è il driver USB2.0 che chissà perchè disabilita un IRQ già in uso.

Per il momento ho risolto eliminando il modulo dal kernel.
Il driver USB1.0 invece non dà problemi.

Effettivamente i problemi vengono risolti togliendo il supporto USB 2.0 dal kernel, per quanto riguarda il bug che mi hai segnalato ammetto di non averlo controllato, tuttavia il titolo sembrava ben lontano dal mio problema... :D

Posso consigliarvi di cercare se dicono qualcosa sulla mailin del kernel o acpi o usb? oppure riportare il bug li. Magari su usb-devel.

Perchè non credo che un bug solo per la gentoo possa risolvere il problema in tempi brevi... Almeno li possono fornirvi delle patch da provare.
