I noticed that there is no package bluez-pin in gentoo. Are this utilities included in other package, or I should wait till the there is package? _________________ -=[ bisho [=- |

If you are talking about the blue-pin that is distributed on the bluez.org website, then I can find no ebuild for it. That application uses DBUS to communicate with hcid. I cannot get it working on my system.
There is a gtk pin helper program that is installed as part of bluez-utils. In /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf set security to user and pin_helper to /usr/bin/bluepin. When you initiate pairing from another device a gtk dialog will pop up that allows you to enter the pin. This means you have to be logged in to a display/window manager for this to work (I think). |
