Hi.
I emerged gentoo-sources and got linux-2.4.19-gentoo-r7.
Can I delete linux-2.4.19-gentoo-r5 after I have compiled the kernel?

If you're not gonna use this kernel anymore and the new one works OK, you can remove it (and the modules dir as well under /lib/modules), unless you want to waste some disk space
Just make sure the /usr/src/linux points to the right dir, some ebuilds depend on it. _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |
