Hi!

I'm using ffmpeg (latest in portage) to convert movies to PSP format.
It seems like the "-title" argument for ffmpeg doesn't work.
Anybody got this to work?

Thanks,
Andre

To answer my own question:
The current CVS version (as of Feb, 2006) there is a fix in ffmpeg that supposedly adds the title functionality for the PSP file format. However, that change did not work for me out of the box. Probably because my PSP is set to german and the language code is hard-coded into the file. I've managed to patch up my version of ffmpeg and now have the "-title" option working for me.

Cheers,
Andre

You say you've got the title working, but can you successfuly convert videos for the PSP? If so, what version of ffmpeg do you use, and what command do you issue?

Uhm, of course... What good would a title be if I couldn't convert the video?! ;)

ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20051216 with the 'aac' USE flag set.

The command I use is:
Code:
ffmpeg -title "<My Title>" -i "<Input file>" -f psp -r 29.970030 -b 384 -ar 24000 -ab 32 -s 320x240 <Output file>

Cheers,
Andre

So how did you get your ffmpeg patched to have the title work? I (finally!!) got video working on my psp, but I can't get the title to appear.

Hi!
I'm trying to install PspVc v1.3 but when I run the installer I've got this error message:

Code:
mpegvideo.c: In function `MPV_encode_picture':
dsputil.h:602: sorry, unimplemented: inlining failed in call to 'lrintf': redefined extern inline functions are not considered for inlining
mpegvideo.c:2404: sorry, unimplemented: called from here
make[1]: *** [mpegvideo.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/robbaz/pspvc-install-0.1.3/work/ffmpeg_051130/libavcodec'
make: *** [lib] Error 2
ERROR during compilation or installation of FFMPEG

Do you have any ideas?

If it can be useful I use:
gcc version 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
kernel 2.6.16-suspend2-r2
Pentium(R) M processor 1600MHz GNU/Linux [centrino]

Bye! :D

some people report me this error but i don't know what it's wrong, because all my tries are succesfull (amd64 & x86, 2006.0, gcc 3.3 & gcc 3.4).
