xmms ebuild fails

Hello trying to install mplayer but it borks at xmms with this error.

creating gnomexmms

I am using the latest mask sylpheed-claws which need the masked gettext, this appears near point of failure so could that be it?

found fix to be simple I need to re-emerge gettext, that was it.

yep found that, masked sylpheed which is supposed to use masked gettext seems to work ok with re emerge gettext.
