Submount / Subfs constantly try to access cdrom and floppy

Hi,

I have this in my /etc/fstab:

/dev/cdrom /disc/cdrom subfs fs=cdfss,ro,umask=0 0 0
/dev/fd0 /disc/floppy subfs fs=floppyfss,sync,umask=0 0 0

The led of the cdromplayer keeps blinking with every few seconds a pause of 2 seconds,
Same with the floppydrive.

I closed all terminals where in I entered the cdrom and floppy directories.

Umounting cdrom and floppy solves the problem, but remounting the devices gives the same problem, right after mounting.

Is this a known problem? In SuSE 9.1 this worked without any problems.

i had the same problem with subfs when using kde, so i've switched to ivman
