A couple of friends invited me to play Team Fortress 2 the other day and I found while using gnome or cinnamon TF2 is extremely laggy. However if I switch to fluxbox or XFCE the lag goes away. Its definitely something with the gnome-shell window manager but I haven't been able to figure out what.
Anyone else run into this? |

Its todo with cutter/mutter and its composite capability.
Gnome never resolved the issue with ogl redirect.
My solution was to launch tf2, dota2... In a new x instance _________________

Whats weird is DOTA2 Heros of Newerth and anything through wine runs fine. Would you happen to have a link to the feature request/bug? |
