Hi all I'm trying to setup a new system and coming across a problem with webkit. I have tried emerging with ccache disabled and -j1 but still no joy.
I have included all the info that emerge recommends at failure here...

I'm probably doing something stupid, maybe a bad use flag or something, _________________ "It said on the side of the box "Requires Windows 95 or better", So I installed Linux"
unzip; strip; touch; finger; grep; mount; fsck; more; yes; fsck; umount; sleep

It would likely help, if that build log was - you know - publicly accessible. |

Oh sorry. Didn't even think to change that. Just seen that that log is massive also so created a file for the last 200 lines if that helps. _________________ "It said on the side of the box "Requires Windows 95 or better", So I installed Linux"

Well, sometimes 200 lines is enough, sometimes it isn't .
Anyway, in this case it's this bug - only workarounds for now. |

Ok thanks for the link. The solution for me was on the bug page and was to upgrade gcc to 4.8 and it compiled fine after
I realise that 200 lines may not be enough but it was just to save someone having to download the whole 62mb if it weren't necessary. _________________ "It said on the side of the box "Requires Windows 95 or better", So I installed Linux"
