|
|
I get the following error when I try to playback an audio file or a project containing audio:
Code: | Audio sample format conversion failed |
Any ideas? openshot is version 1.4.3, ffmpeg is 1.2.6 if that's relevant. I found this forum thread which seemed to be the same problem, but there were no replies. The breakage happened after a world upgrade, I don't remember my old versions. _________________ Alex Zorach | Teacology | RateTea | Why This Way

I did some digging and the error message is generated from the ffmpeg code, so I don't think this is a problem with OpenShot.
USE flags, if it helps:
Code: | [ebuild R ] media-video/ffmpeg-1.2.6 USE="X aac alsa bzip2 encode hardcoded-tables iconv mmx mp3 network sdl theora truetype vorbis x264 xvid zlib -3dnow -3dnowext -aacplus (-altivec) -amr -avx -bindist -bluray -cdio (-celt) -cpudetection -debug -doc -examples -faac -fdk -flite -fontconfig -frei0r -gnutls -gsm -iec61883 -ieee1394 -jack -jpeg2k -libass -libcaca -libsoxr -libv4l -mmxext -modplug (-neon) -openal -openssl -opus -oss -pic -pulseaudio -rtmp -schroedinger -speex -ssse3 -static-libs {-test} -threads -twolame -v4l -vaapi -vdpau (-vis) -vpx" FFTOOLS="aviocat cws2fws ffescape ffeval fourcc2pixfmt graph2dot ismindex pktdumper qt-faststart trasher" 0 kB
[ebuild R ~] media-video/openshot-1.4.3 USE="ffmpeg python" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7 (-python2_6%)" 0 kB |
Also, for clarification, all other audio on my system seems to work fine. I.e. mplayer works just fine. _________________ Alex Zorach | Teacology | RateTea | Why This Way |

Found a temporary workaround by downgrading to ffmpeg-1.0.8. This seems to be a bug in the newer version. _________________ Alex Zorach | Teacology | RateTea | Why This Way |
