We kind of need a bit more information than that. What drives do you have (HD, CD, DVD etc.)? What are they physically connected to (motherboard controller 0, ctrl 1, PCI controller etc.)? SCSI or IDE? _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

Most likely IDE. Chances are you have either your DVD or burner as /dev/hda. You should be able to try /dev/hdb, /dev/hdc and /dev/hdd. Try them in order. If you only have 1 HD (the 30G) and a DVD & burner, then one of them will work. That will be your HD. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
