Hi all - I've been using Mandrake 6.0, 7.0, 8.1 & 8.2, small problems, but all fixable. Mandrake auto-detected my network card each time. Gentoo seems to not pick it up. I did the look in Windoze network it reads: SMC EZ 10/100 PCI (SMC1211 series) & SOHOware 10/100 PCI network adapter
Can anyone help me with a work around
TIA |

Is this problem during the install, or afterwards? _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

I think this topic has been covered before in the forums. I could be mistaken. I did a very quick search, but didn't come up with anything. If you haven't, you might check this part of the install guide. Found on the Documentation page. If that doesn't help, take some time to search the forums (yes it can be difficult sometimes). I'd search some more, but I'm about ready to go to sleep. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
