Setting up a bluetooth com port for wine

I am in need of some assistance setting up my bluetooth device under wine.
I am following https://www.scantool.net/forum/index.php?topic=3780.0 to set it up, but when it comes to restarting bluetooth, i dont end up with /dev/rfcomm4 to link to a com
I didnt have rfcomm.conf on my system so i just created it, but doesnt seem to do anything. Is there something I am missing?
