Hi,

I am looking for a/the right way to implement 'suspend' for xbmc on a HTPC.
There are various posts about this topic, for example https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-909950-start-0.html from two years ago, but this doesnt work anymore ( at least not 'straight away' ).

My HTPC starts XBMC using an init script. No slim , gdm or anything, since the system is only used as HTPC.
So basically the standard method described here: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/XBMC.

However, suspend is not available / greyed-out in the option menu.
I can suspend the system using pm-suspend from the command line.

Any hints/advices on the simplest way to implement suspend would be welcome,

Thanks,

Alex.
