Dear forum I have problem with alsa. When I try to use two different programs for audio (for example vlc and youtube) always the second one has no audio. When I see a video on youtube and I want the same time to listen music from vlc, vlc plays the song but is like muted. I don't hear anything from vlc.
Another problem is that when I connect the headphones on the laptop, I listen the music from the headphones but music is not muted from the normal speakers. They play all of them.
How can I do my sound just work as all the other normal computers?

This is my .asoudrc on my home directory
Code:

defaults.pcm.!card 1
defaults.ctl.!card 1

pulseaudio may conflict with the programs that runs directly through the alsa (like flashplugin). from the information provided, this is not the case.
can you start the youtube and run
Code:
aplay /dev/urandom
?
