Hey everyone I was running
Code: | emerge --update --ask --deep --with-bdeps=y --newuse @world |
while I was ssh'd in and in the middle of it compling / installing gcc I lost internet connection now when I try and run the command again I end up getting:
Code: | s emerge --update --ask --deep --with-bdeps=y --newuse @world

I let the 'emerging gcc' run for about 20 minutes before terminating it and now I'm not sure what to try next. Anyone know of anything that could help?

Nevermind, I did not realize that the emerge kept going in the background. It was just a really long update so it took a while before it was no longer locked. Jumped the gun posting in the fourms
For anyone future note even if you lose ssh connection in the middle of an emerge it still continues just fyi. |
