|
|
Hi all.
I am having problems getting the update to cgminer 4.0.1 (same problem with 4.0.0., in fact I still have 3.12.3)
The error is the following:
Code: | >>> Source compiled.
>>> Test phase [not enabled]: net-misc/cgminer-4.0.1
>>> Install cgminer-4.0.1 into /var/tmp/portage/net-misc/cgminer-4.0.1/image/ category net-misc
install: cannot stat ‘bitstreams/*.ncd’: No such file or directory
!!! doins: bitstreams/*.ncd does not exist
* ERROR: net-misc/cgminer-4.0.1::gentoo failed (install phase):
* doins failed |
The output of Code: | emerge --info '=net-misc/cgminer-4.0.1::gentoo' | is http://pastebin.com/xZPR9cEs
The output of Code: | emerge -pqv '=net-misc/cgminer-4.0.1::gentoo' | is
Code: | [ebuild U ] net-misc/cgminer-4.0.1 [3.12.3] USE="avalon avalon2%* bab%* bflsc bitforce bitfury bitmine_A1%* cointerra%* drillbit hashfast%* icarus klondike knc%* modminer ncurses udev -doc -examples -hardened -minion" |
The content of /var/tmp/portage/net-misc/cgminer-4.0.1/temp/build.log is http://pastebin.com/d8JymUPc
How can I fix it?
Thank in advance. _________________ Marco Di Fresco

Found how to solve it.
I had to remove the 'modminer' useflag from /etc/portage/package.use.
For better support for any ASIC miner I could came across, I enabled almost any useflag of cgminer and for the 3.x series it compiled just fine, but evidently on the 4.x series something changed. _________________ Marco Di Fresco

Thanks for finding this solution. _________________ Greg |
