|
|
For the most part, I have this printer working in Gentoo with the exception of one annoying problem. Whenever I print in duplex mode, the back page is shifted up 1 inch higher, thus cutting off the header, or anything else at the top of the page. The CUPS test page also presents the same problem when printing full duplex.
NOTE: The back page prints correctly if I set it to tumble mode, but that prints the page upside down. I'd rather have full-duplex with no-tumble enabled.
Not really sure where to start. Thanks.

Possibly the printer thinks that it uses different paper format (A4 vs. Letter) than you actually put in the paper tray?
Is the printer able to print a self-test page in duplex mode? |

Thanks for the response!
It is indeed set to the right document format.
I think the problem with it was a libreoffice problem. I had it set up to print the header. Which should work, but for whatever reason it doesn't. Removing the header and using a "fake" header prints just fine.
Now I just need something that prints pdf files aligned properly. Evince prints everything too far to the left and too low. I should be able to find something that works eventually.
Thanks for the help. |
