Wow!

mace++ (But would it be okay to use it on her? Maybe a threat would suffice?)

It isn't legal everywhere. But showing that you have it and asking her to leave wouldn't be unreasonable in my opinion. "I was concerned for the safety of my children. She was acting irrationally and wouldn't leave." YMMV depending on jurisdiction.

Though a gun works just as well :) Point to the holster, and say "F*** off, Obamabot"

I prefer to not involve guns unless necessary. Although she may have been an office supply ninja, I'm more afraid of Obama's pen.

as a responsible gun owner, no. you're not supposed to do this, and in most cases, this would be considered brandishing, a form of assault with a firearm. yes, it's a felony.

at least the first time she came up. i would have told her to go away before i call the cops.

when she went to her car and came back to threaten the mom who was tending to the kid in the truck bed, that is VERY threatening, and i probably would have drawn the gun and told her to get on the ground until the cops arrived... depending on the state at least. 30+ states would side with me on that one.

what if she pulled out a gun and shot you, standing her ground?

America has problems.

Don't think many Prius drivers own guns.

Yep. It's tough to get around without tripping over all the dead gunshot victims.

Not nearly as significant as your own.

I'd smile and give her a box of my fresh organic produce.

Next time someone yells at you, smile and give them something they weren't expecting. See what happens.

I rarely have gifts on my person. And my taxes are already too high, so they're not getting cash.

I was serious about smiling and being generous. Either they completely turn around or the y turn around and walk off, but it always catches them off guard.

Reminds me of "jokes" about urban living; of having at least a $20 just in case you get mugged.

No violence was involved. In fact, suggestions were on how to deescalate and avoid violence.

by whipping out a gun and pointing at someone and telling them to lie down?

I forgot to ask, how do we know this person is a democrat?

Other than being a sanctimonious, authoritarian c-word, bitching about a "gas guzzler?"

I misunderstood your intent. By "everyone" and "suggesting a violent solution," I thought you meant more than one person and suggestion of a violent solution. No one suggested "whipping out a gun and pointing it at someone and telling them to lie down" or anything similar. The first suggestion of pulling out a gun was when you posted that she might do so.

I guess I'm just naive that he might recognize what he is doing (or some day just admit it that he was trolling all along). And, no, I don't mean "giving up" being a leftist (just being the first honest one).
