That was, cause the use flags of this packages has changed in the meantime and you have used the N --newuse Flag.
One flag I remember was a changed python flag.
No need to worry.
This kind of changes seems to be rare for the kernel sources, apart from that we know it mostly from other packages.

Does this mean I should recompile the kernel with the changed flags? |

I don't follow you - I compiled it in when it first became available, then recompiled when it was changed the first time. What difference would doing it again/ not doing it again make? |
