i haven't seen it mentioned, soooo i want to replace my red hat system with gentoo, but i don't want to do it twice so is there a general range of dates i can expect it to be out? |

Interesting... not sure. My guess is, the only answer you will hear is 'when it is ready'. However, it would be nice if there was an 'update' on how much was left to do. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

Why worry ? Go for it, using 1.3b (gcc 3.1).
Have fun, and later, when the official version comes out, a simple:
emerge rsync && emerge --update world
will bring you back up-to-date.
