I'm trying to install Gentoo Prefix on my work computer (Which I believe is a Debian distribution with some extra scripts going on automatically), but I've run into a snag. It seems that whenever a new shell is created, LD_LIBRARY_PATH is automatically set, which prevents me from running the bootstrap script. I've tried unsetting it in my .bashrc, but this doesn't work - I suspect some other script is set to automatically run after it (it seems to be part of the Starlink software package). Does anyone know if there's another way to make sure it's unset, or a workaround to install Gentoo Prefix?
