balsa 2.0.1-r1 -> worst ?

hi,
i really dissuade from using / trying balsa (2.0.1-r1) . this dev version has a lot of bugs.
first of all, emerge can't solve the dependences. pango won't compile until you create this link
'ln -s /usr/X11R6/include/X11 /usr/include/X11'. later than, libgtkhtml is missing and it must be emerged seperated.
later it crashes continuously: several options in the 'preferences' cause such a crash.
eg.: check e-mails at startup, change to inbox on startup, ... and so on..

in addition it seems to be unable to handle 'umlauts'.
