Most likely you need to configure your SUID sandbox correctly

The the previous working version www-client/google-chrome-43.0.2357.73_p1 was removed from the tree in the same update.
Code: |
# emerge -av1 =www-client/google-chrome-beta-43.0.2357.73_p1
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies... done!
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=www-client/google-chrome-beta-43.0.2357.73_p1".

Just mentioning it in case it is something but as I recall there is a certain kernel option which must be emerged for the sandbox to work properly. When emerging the stable google-chrome anyway I recall portage outputing a message detailing this with the details. Is this possibly related to your issue?
edit: I'm on ~amd64 though. |

It need to disable the CONFIG_COMPAT_VDSO too ( processor type and features -> Disable the 32-bit vDSO )
