This is dumb, so I hope there's a simple answer.

I've been using E17 (yes, I know E18 is out, I'm holding off on updating because I'm traveling and don't want to break my laptop while overseas). Mostly it works fine, but for one annoyance.

I do not like the default date format of either my native language (English) or where I reside (Germany). I want all my clock widgets, when they display the date, to use ISO8601 (YYYY-mm-dd), since that's been the international standard for nearly 20 years. I'm a snob, I know.

But I can't find a way to do it within E17. Their own documentation seems geared more towards developers; all I want to know is what config file the clock app consults when drawing the date, and how to change it.

Thanks for the help!

EE

I doubt there is any way to do this without creating your own little clock theme.
