Hi there,

I can't mount a TrueCrypt volume anymore because of this error message:

Code:

Error: mount: /tmp/.truecrypt_aux_mnt1: filesystem mounted, but mount(8) failed: The waiting time for this connection has exceeded [translated]

Also, I find this in the logs:

Code:
Okt 19 02:20:03 punica gnome-session[2932]: WARNING : Failed to connect to UDisks, autodetection of devices will be disabled.
Okt 19 02:20:03 punica gnome-session[2932]: WARNING : Failed to connect to HAL, autodetection of devices will be disabled.
(...)
Okt 19 02:29:36 punica systemd-tmpfiles[3677]: stat(/run/user/1000/gvfs) failed: Permission denied
Okt 19 02:29:37 punica systemd[1]: Started Cleanup of Temporary Directories.

Though automount for un-encrypted usb devices works with my Gnome 3.8 and systemd.

What's wrong here?

Seems like I got a general problem with mount:

Code:

# mount /boot
mount: /boot: filesystem mounted, but mount(8) failed: The waiting time for this connection has exceeded [translated]

The boot-Partition does not appear in the output of "mount", but I cann access it.

Solved the problem. Hope you read the messages better than me:

* To ensure consistent behavior, you should replace /etc/env.d/02locale

* and create the symlink with the following command:
* ln -s -n -f ../locale.conf /etc/env.d/02locale

* Upstream mandates the /etc/mtab file should be a symlink to /proc/mounts.
* Not having it is not supported by upstream and will cause tools like 'df'
* and 'mount' to not work properly. Please run:
* # ln -sf '/proc/self/mounts' '/etc/mtab'
