|
|
Hi all,
Hope this is the right sub-forum.
I installed Virtualbox-4.2.18 with Windows 7 as guest.
It all works fine.
My problem is that as soon as I turn on my USB Epson XP-750 printer /var/log/syslog gets flooded with messages.
Printer and associated software all work fine, absolutely no problem.
I googled and came up with a ubuntu user with a similar problem:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=879256
Unfortunately this one is 5 years old and I think VBOX_LOG_DEST doesn't exist any more.(At least find came up with nothing).
Anyone know how to stop the spamming?
Thanks in advance,

Problem solved.
I had "USB verbose messages" enabled in my kernel config.
Unticking it and a recompile after that.
