Hi all,
two weeks ago I tried to get my 'new' Canon IP4600 to work, so I took the ebuild from here https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258244 and put it in '/usr/local/portage/net-print/cnijfilter'. I also copied the provided patches on my machine. But it does not merge:

OK, it wants gtk+ in a version >= 2.6.0. I have on my system:
Code: |
x11-libs/gtk+
selected: 2.24.17 3.4.4
|
x11-libs/gtk+-3.4.4 is higher than 2.6.0, isn't it? And the latest gtk+-2-version on portage is gtk+-2.24.20.
I posted my problem on https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258244 but did not receive an answer. Could you help me out? My knowledge is some kind of limited but I'd like to learn to solve my problems
