Energyman said he liked this awesome tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9pUR1QV3yQ

It sampled "Edge of Seventeen" by Stevie Nicks. Extremely cleverly if you ask me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn8-4tjPxD8&feature=share

I can't stand Stevie Nicks, especially after the news concerning Ms. Ronstadt.

She's one of my favorite, so I'm not sure I can listen... what style of music?

That linked-to youtube? Electro-house strongly flavored with digital compression artifacts where the highs would have been. No idea if that's what the actual song is meant to sound like.

The first was a relaxed drum n bass and the second was the original.

If you listen to the first then the second you find they compliment each other massively

It's sad about Mrs Ronstadt but I wouldn't wash her dead corpse with Nicks' used tampons

Fleetwood Mac was better as a blues band before they hired the two twits. Stevie Nicks sings like she has sticks shoved up her nose and ass. :P

Electro-house or relaxed drum and base, it still sounds awful (I'm not aware of any drum and base that I thought was good).

Fleetwood Mac is also good.

Yes, sorry, typo. I'm familiar with bass. Since drum & bass is so awful, my brain probably didn't associate it what _that_ kind of bass.

It's very basic, so yeah. I know people who like it without the aid of drugs, my guess is they have a naturally high level of serotonin in their brain. Or they are tone deaf.

There are many different types of Drum N Bass, you would probably be more fond of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Vs8xx5Xlb4&t=0m46s

It has a great rhythm made from guitars and saxophone amongst others

Oh god, I listened to 5 seconds and I thought "The pan pipes are going to start any second". That's not drum and bass, that's dirgey world musak, or the crap that gets played in a Greenpeace shop.

lol, I misread that has "The pain pipes are going to start" :D

It sounds bad, but mainly because it sounds like some 12 y/o in his room randomly pressing buttons to mix stuff together. But, hey, you gotta start somewhere (but you don't have to put it on the internet!).

EDIT: OK, 4:22 is as far as I can go.

This is a lot different. This was a massive hit a few years back, it reached 7 in the charts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ_skn20YLo

I once asked in a video if that oversteering like noise was an artifact or intentional.

It was not received well.
