Hi
I am trying to get 'supergrub2' to boot from a usb flash drive. The .iso file boots fine from a cd but I am not sure how I should format the flash drive to enable this.
Any help would be appreciated.

Prior to reading your response I had followed 'Howto make - Super Grub Disk Wiki.htm' [ Gnu/Linux (and being usable for storage later]
I formatted the pen drive as ext4 and not fat32 as stated. I then found that it booted fine on another linux laptop and showed supergrub2 menu ok.
I then tried again on the original laptop no boot. So I looked at the bios boot priorities and found that the sequence had returned usb to after hdd.
So there was the problem, I do not know why this was the case because I had already changed this for usb before hdd, I had saved this and checked that this was the case but somehow it had reverted.
Anyhow it is booting fine now, thanks for your input on this.
