I'm currently installing the Courier mailserver and I have a problem with the webadmin.
I've it running OK put apache is using the apache credentials while Courier is using the mail credentials so webadmin can only access world readable config files.
I've setup the webadmin as a vhost. Can I just let that vhost use the mail credentials or should I add apache to the mail group.
I've been looking in the apache help, but can't find it.

Oops I discovered I used the wrong file to start the server. Gentoo uses a bit different paths then the default in the manual and I took /usr/share/courier/courierwebadmin/webadmin.pl instead of /usr/lib64/courier/courier/webmail/webadmin.
in the manual they point to /usr/lib/courier/libexec/courier/webmail/webadmin
It works except for the rights.
