Hi and Happy 4th of July!!!

So can i install Gentoo with my current Handbook and not run into problems? i also have the CD with Gentoo Minimal Install Dated May of 2012... so what should i do your help is very much appreciated Thank You!

I think you can safely use that printed version. I for one still use the manual I read (countless times ) in the early 2004. But more seriously I always fall back on the online manual when I am stuck, which tends to be like extremely rarely with time. Only a few things have changed since then and you can only start from a stage 3 but you always end up with an emerge -ae system|world anyway ;-).

Although I agree with VinzC that your issues will probably be minimal, the real question in my mind is, why would you not want to use contemporary install media and documentation? Following the Handbook on line is actually less work: you can't cut & paste from printed media.
