This place needs more smiles. We need some funny things to do. We can do something regularly like:

Stupid quotes from the world of computer science.
Funniest threads from other forums
Best looking breasts from your country. Extra points for the woman being good looking as well. Everyone gives ratings out of 10.
Cock jokes.
Racism monthly.
Stupid things politicians have said.

Add more and we'll pick the best

question: if you say racism monthly, does that include the hate campaign against Zimmermann?

This need for lightness is karmic attachment you know. After all Lucifer means "light bringer".
If night is day and day is night, does that mean that the night is day again, and since it was day to begin with, then the day is day. Maybe thats what Morrison meant by breaking through to the other side? Or maybe he was as high as a giraffe pussy when he wrote it?

Well what I meant was 10 years ago this forum used to be a much funnier and happier place - but then I suppose the world back then was much happier. It seems to have got all serious

The main issue is sustaining interest. Few topics maintain interest other than the ones likely to lead to shit-slinging.

Best recommendation is to start some and try to keep them going. "In Your Ear" and "What book are you reading" seem to be liked, if not creating much actual discussion / interaction.

Cokey, just make some lighthearted threads dealing with things outside of cricket & F1.

You contribute nothing to this forum except your extremist parroting, and certainly don't add anything entertaining or enlightening, so how about you just go take your assigned position at the tail end of the human centipede?

I think a good topic would be "Deserves a Darwin Award but hasn't died".

We need to revisit that forum warriors cartoons and assign appropriate characters to each other.

I used to love it when we had threads that got to 80 pages. I think the gay marriage one was quite big

People have either mellowed down or have said everything they ever wanted to say. Except ofcourse for global warming & climate change. People still have a LOT to say about this.

Seems to me that subject has come up several times. Capital punishment and gun control are a couple of other revenants.

Have you joined the discussion on whether schools should provide separate lavatories for transgender students?

How about a nice rant / flame-fest about systemd? You've been away while a couple of those have blown through. It's about time for another.
