glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1 fails to build

I will post my error message as soon as I can, but the build seems to be failing for lack of finding some file or another...

For now, has anyone else had any problems emerging glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1

It's only r1 that fails for me... glibc-2.3.4.20040808 worked fine, but now it seems masked, and I don't want to go back down to glibc-2.3.4.20040619-r2

My system is a AMD64..
