I'm trying to install Gentoo on a second computer, but it's breaking at the "emerge gentoo-sources" part.
Specifically, when it tries to emerge sys-devel/bc the compilation dies with
Code:
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

Short of re-emerging gcc (which I tried), I have no clue regarding how to go about this one.
Thanks

Let's start with:

Code:
emerge --info
gcc-config -l (small L not a 1)
echo $CHOST

Hint: Check your CFLAGS
Hint 2: A syntax error is causing your issue...

[spoiler]
If your still at a loss march needs a minus sign :)
