Hello guys,
I'm just wondering if someone else has this problem too and I'd love to know how to fix it.

Javascript is not 100% broken, but when there is a line in the code that is something like:

Code:
window.open

Then the browsers transform that into:

Quote:
<!--ow.open('... -->

And this totally breaks the WHOLE javascript functionality is ALL websites.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one around with this problem, but this is driving my nuts. Every damn website that has that is a website that I NEED to use for work and I'm unable to use them because of this.

This is probably not a Gentoo-specific problem and might exist in another OS too (like Windows or Mac), though, I'm not sure.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

PS. This happens in ALL browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera).

EDIT: I even tried in a VM using Windows with IE, Chrome, Firefox, Opera and I'm having the same problem... :(

Maybe your ISP or something on your router does these transformations. What happens when you try it through tor?

Thank you so much. Someone had configured my router to "block popups" and this was causing all these problems *facepalm*.
