Black Screen after Booting

I'm stuck with black screen in gentoo

Bootloader loads fine and the kernel also loads but after loading some modules the screen goes blank.....

I'm confirmed that gentoo install well becoz "dmesg" donot show any error and after sometime of blank screen

i enter my root user password and give "reboot" command and system reboots very well

Only problem is blank screen
Maybe there is problem in kernel config

it appears that you are trying to configure a laptop that has both intel and amd/ati video?
if so see if the bios provides for disabling one or the other.

If you have another computer, you can ssh into the machine with the blank screen and then check logs.

If you are booting into a graphical environemnt, I would check the xorg log at /var/log/Xorg.0.log
