Will appreciate if you say the 'why' also.

I bet Germany. Serious answers please :) A lot depends on it.

The province of the Gladiators has the biggest demands. Maybe you have a liking for movies about them?

You mean the region has similar demands?

Not sure about movies.

How likely do you think that anyone here would be able to fill in your poll? Most of them live in the US, and the others don't live in any of the countries on your poll. Even if they did, what demands do you mean: demands for money, power, women, football, bigger desks, smarter chairs, more buxom secretaries, less buxom secretaries, world peace, world war, music, silence? The list goes on, however your poll doesn't make any sense.

dE_logics wants to escape the madhouse known as USA. I commend that much honesty and vote for Switzerland, because Switzerland has the largest number of holes (in cheese and elsewhere). Any EU state would be fine, too. Stay clear of Russia.

My guess would be Europe or South America. But I could also see either China, India or maybe even Russia having pretty high demand.

I guessed Germany.

Actually, I think I'd like to change that to the Czech Republic, please.

Also, you should put Cuba on there. Not many Cubans have computers, but Linux is on a lot of them.

Linux has more market share in Cuba than anywhere else. If you don't believe me, check it out.

Well, the poll was more related to total Linux usage (as a raw magnitude, not as a percentage). So, given how few computers there are in Cuba, I would not expect them have more Linux admin jobs than large, high-tech countries.

They might have more vacant Linux admin jobs, but you'd have to grow a mustache, get a tan, and learn to call everybody compañero and sweat grease.

If not for the sweating grease, it'd have the added benefit of annoying lolusa.

I think in russia are the most demands or at least where the most demands will be, because of putin

in china will be a big demand too, but why should there be so many linux jobs in germany and switzerland? Although I regularly see linux admin jobs in switzerland there are still too few...

A quick search nation wide in Italy shows 647 position as linux admin open right now, don't know if this qualifies Italy as a country with a big demand for linux admins ....

Often knowledge of Solaris and/or AIX and/or Windows is also required.
