Fan controls at HP Probook 6550b

Hi, I've installed Gentoo on HP Probook 6550b, installed lm_sensors according to wiki page .
For pwmconfig I get "/usr/sbin/pwmconfig: There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed".
I gather there is something wrong with my genkernel configuration or the laptop doesn't have required hardware (quite improbable).

Does anyone have HP Probook 6550b with working pwmconfig?

The fan controls should be automatically managed by the processor. You cannot set the fan speed via some tools!

Do you have problem with heating?
