OK, so wine-9999 is giving me a problem on an attempt to apply patch wine-1.5.30-libwine.patch
notable output lines from the patch.out file were:
can't find file to patch at input line 11
can't find file to patch at input line 24
can't find file to patch at input line 37
...So I did some digging. the patch works on three files:
wine_fn_config_makefile
WINE_CONFIG_MAKEFILE
version.c
find ./ {filename} turned up no results for the first two anywhere in the work directory, or anywhere in /v/t/p/app-emu/wine-9999 for that matter.
there are multiple files named version.c, but I would assume none of them are where the patch is looking.
Is there a way to do something simple, like, oh, i dunno, DISABLE the patch? I personally don't understand the purpose of applying patches to something that's so volatile.
--as an aside, the merge worked perfectly until earlier today. this issue is fairly recent. |
