|
|
Hey all,
I have several questions regarding Compiz standalone.
1. Why do the icons in the Compiz Config Settings Manager appear as white pieces of paper with a red x through them?
2. Why do I get this error when I try changing the keybindings for plugins through the CCSM:
Traceback (most recent call last):
Code: |
File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/ccm/Settings.py", line 1058, in RunKeySelector
modifierSelector = ModifierSelector (currentMods)
File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/ccm/Widgets.py", line 402, in __init__
self._base_surface = cairo.ImageSurface.create_from_png (modifier)
cairo.Error: file not found
|
3. How do I change the background color of the plugin 'static application switcher' to something other than white.
Thanks in advance,

Sounds like you have either broken PNG image support somewhere along the GTK chain and it's falling back to an SVG error icon, or you don't have any appropriate icon themes installed.

I don't have it installed to check but it should be a colour picker button in that plugin's settings. If it's showing as a solid white box you might be missing the image format plugin it needs or it might be a symptom of the earlier PNG problem. |

Oh, I thought that I needed to install Python 2.7 for the 2nd issue of mine. How would I go about fixing the 'PNG problem'? |

It might just need revdep-rebuild - there was a new version of libpng recently. If it's not that then I'm not sure. |
