Gnome2 and palm pilot utilities

I use evolution, gnome 1.4, pilot-link and gnome-pilot on my work computer with great success. My home computer on the other hand has gnome2 on, evolution works ok but I'd like to know if anyone has got pilot-link and gnome-pilot working on Gnome2. As far as I can tell there is nothing on the gnome-pilot website to suggest whether it will work or not.
